A World of Possibilities

This is here largely for my own edification. I have a lot of things going on in my head where this is concerned, so I would like to largely hash it out.

So, in this past year I’ve had a lot of things in my head change where my writing is concerned. For the longest time I thought that I would only be interested in writing a movie. In many ways, that’s still where my passion lies. I would love to see my words on the big screen. It’s still a dream of mine as is winning an Oscar for my writing.

My trip to San Diego Comic Con truly opened my eyes to something that I haven’t thought about before… Maybe I should also produce this long story that I have written for the past 3 years and make it in to a graphic novel.

I’m still going to take the screenplays I do have and finesse them.

But now I have this… I have this idea that’s really larger than what I have written in screenplay form. It’s a story that I think that could work. It’s a bit of Nana and a bit of Gravitation. And yet, it’s also its own entity.

All I have now is figuring out how to word that I’m looking for an artist.

It doesn’t help that I have a specific art style in mind. I would like someone who can draw similarly to Yun Kouga. I love her style of drawing her manga. But that’s not to say that I wouldn’t entertain another artist in a more western traditional comic book style if there was a meeting of the minds.

It’s yet another thing that I can put on my list of things to do.

I have so many balls up in the air right now. I hope that I can keep juggling them and they don’t come crashing down on my head.
